Violet Elaine McBride, age 71 of Hot Sulphur
Springs, Colorado passed away Wednesday,
June 6, 2012. She was born April 8, 1941 in
Denver, Colorado to Karlet and Ethel
Karlsen. She was a homemaker and care-
giver. She was a beautiful mother, grandmother,
great grandmother, sister, aunt, wife, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Karlet
and Ethel Karlsen and daughter; Kristine Ann
Easter.
She is survived by ex-husband and dear friend,
Gary Dewayne McBride, daughters; Denise Louise
Demrow and Peggy Sue McBride, Siblings; Elsie
Campbell, Lavern Karlet Karlsen, Grand-
children; Anthony Don Easter, Melissa Deshea
Ramirez, Joshua McBride, Jessie Lee Baughar,
Carrie Jane Lyda, Kevin Lyda, Michael Retzer,
Kyle Retzer, Destinie McBride, Cassie Castinon,
Chelea Retzer, Jacqueline Arissa Brewer, Eric
Paul-Martin Estes, Great-grandchildren;

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.,
Monday, June 11, 2012 at Pioneer Park
by the river in Hot Sulphur Springs with
Rev. Bill Blake officiating. Reception will

I am very sorry to here about your mother/grandma. I have some fond memories of her. I remember her giving us a ride back up the river after tubing down it. Oh and the other time we went to Lakeside. Thank you for letting me share a couple memories with her. You are all in my prayers and thoughts

Aunt Vi, I miss you so much. I know your at peace now and with Kristine.I miss seeing you everyday on F/B and helping you with your Farm and zoo. Its just not the same without you. I love you so much and miss you even more..Rest in peace my Dear Aunt rest in peace.
