Lindsey Nichole Nickerson
Lindsey Nickerson, age 22 went home to be with her Lord on November 30,2014 while hiking with friends in Kona Hawaii where she was attending a missionary training school preparing for the mission field in India. Lindsey had a tremendous love for Jesus and others and wanted others to know Him in a personal way; She loved life and the outdoors. She is survived by her Mother, Margo her stepfather Norm, her father, Vic, her stepmother Lora, her four sisters, Shanna, Leah, Haley and Cheyenne. Her brother in laws, David and Warren, Her grandmothers, Alene, Sharon and Arlene and Grandfather Max.
Services will be held Wednesday December 10th at 2:00 P.M at the Church of the Pines in Grand Lake, Colorado. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to "Lindsey's Fund" at US banks.
I just heard of Lindsey's passing. I am heart broken. I know her as a customer at my store. I have had sweet conversations with her and how could I not love her. She would come in with her Grandma Alene and the two of them were obviously so close. I have never known a better, sweeter, more sincere person than Lindsey. My condolences to her family.

May God Bless All of You in this Time of Loss, I do not even know you, but I reside in Granby. My daughter Alea is at WYAM in Kona. She had just returned to Kona from her mission. I read the Ski High News last night and knew in my heart that Lindsey was at WYAM. I feel comfortable in saying that the Lord did call her home, so early, we don't know why. I watched the service and feel like I came to know her, just a little bit, but she was on fire for God. She was an amazing young lady, living a life that is so hard to do. I do want you to know that I am praying for you, but I take solace in knowing that Lindsey is forever with our Lord and pray through the pain that you do too. If any of you ever need a shoulder, an ear or anything, I am here for you. In HIS Name, Barb 303-912-5493 email@example.com

Praying for you during this time. We have many fun memories of the times Lindsey was at our house with Megan. She was a special girl. Sending you a hug from Iowa. Take care. "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." ---Psalm 145:18
