I think about his smile which was always there whether he was chopping wood or hosting a party. My heart goes out to Kateri & their children. He left us too soon.

I am a good friend and neighbor of Dave and Katrie. As a friend and neighbor Dave would do anything to help and in turn I would do anything for Dave. We both loved a good book and the mountains we live in. I always looked forward to my time spent with him and his family. Dave got to know all 4 of my boys and they loved his for who he was - one fantastic guy!

We will miss Dave tremendously and will forever keep close to or hearts the friendship and the good times we had. We lost a great man!

We are so deeply sorry for you all. May the wonderful memories of Dave live forever in your hearts. He was a wonderful man - we could all tell by Mike's example and learning of Dave from his stories.
