Constance "Connie" B Newton
Connie met Thomas W. Newton Sr. at Chanter Wood Camp in Lee, Massachusettes, in the summer of 1953. They were married April 27, 1957. She graduated from East Orange General Hospital in 1956 and became a new born nursery nurse.
One of Connie's greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. She loved golf and often said she played golf eight days a week. She was an active member in the community serving on the Mission Committee at the Church of Eternal Hills and as treasurer for PEO. Connie volunteered at the Fraser Public Library and served on the board of Grand County Seniors.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Newton Sr, her sister Elmira (Midy) Mangiante, three children: Thomas Newton Jr. (wife, Carolyn), Linda Moore (husband, Chris) Cindy Moynahan (husband, Shawn) & three grandchildren: Josh Keen, Danielle Keen & Megan Moore.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NorthWestColoradoHealth.org. When donating please designate Grand County under special programs.
Memorial services will be held at the Church of the Eternal Hills, 100 Meadows Blvd, Tabernash, CO 80478 at 2 p.m. August 10th. Following the service, we would like to invite everyone to a reception in the Fellowship Hall organized by the friends of the family. A most special woman who I had the privilege of knowing through my visits to Winter Park, and in gratitude to Connie for all her support and kindness to our daughter, Kathleen.
May Connie be at peace.
Lovingly, Mary Giblin

We have all lost a very special, caring person. Connie was my roommate in Nsg School and we have been such special friends since then. Much love and many prayers to Tom, Tommy, Linda, Cindy and her Grandchildren. Will miss her so much.
