On Sunday, July 20th, at 12:37 am., Victor Hugo Zapata Galindo's brave fight against cancer came to a peaceful end, surrounded by loved ones - a true celebration of his life and legacy. His remarkable six-month journey was a powerful reminder of his unwavering strength and courage. Victor's warm smile and the beautiful way he would say "BYEEE!" will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire and motivate all who knew him. He had a profound love for his family, often sharing stories about his mother, sister, and niece, filling the hearts of those around him with love and joy. His time living with his father in Grand Lake and his dedication to his work at The Rapids, Gateway Inn, and Sagebrush was a remarkable example of his perseverance and commitment, leaving a lasting impact on all those whose lives he touched. The family he created while working at the Mountain Inn was a true masterpiece of love and connection, a shining testament to the transformative power of community and love. Victor's contribution of life we be held at Living Word Christian Fellowship, 624 Lake Avenue in Grand Lake, on Thursday, July 31 st at 11:00 am., followed by a celebratory lunch featuring his favorite 7-ll hot dogs. |
