Roger Michael Lee

Roger Michael Lee passed away January 4, 2017 in Winter Park, CO at the age of 54. He was born January 4, 1963 in Lynwood, CA. He is survived by his wife, Angela, her daughter Kate and son-in-law Braden, grandchildren, Madison, Tristen, and Natalie, her parents Josie and Robert Berard, and their famlies; as well as his parents Gary and Barbara Lee, brother, Bryan, sister, Brenda and thier families. Roger graduated from Rim of the World High School and attended the University of Riverside in CA. He moved to Winter Park CO. in 2003 and joined the U.S. Disabled Ski Team. From there he competed in the 2006 Winter Paraolympics in Torino Italy. During his time in Winter Park, Roger was a beloved emplyee at Safeway, where he and Angela met in 2007. They were married November 12, 2011. Roger was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend, who touched many with his smile and friendship. He was a man with a BIG HEART and will be missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his Nana this last August and is at peace in Heaven. There will be a memorial pot-luck dinner at the Silverado II event center on January 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the Roger Lee Memorial Fund has been opened at Wells Fargo in Winter Park for donations wishing to be made.
