Obituary of Lois Cox
A visitation for Lois Kaye Cox, of Blythewood, SC was held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Kornegay & Moseley in Columbia, SC. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Grand Lake Cemetery in Colorado.
Mrs. Cox passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at the age of 69. Born on July 2, 1945 in Hastings, NE she was the daughter of the late John J. Syme and Lois L. Chalmers Syme. She loved volunteering her time, especially with the Special Olympics.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Max Cox; children, Shawn Cox, Michelle (David) Harper and Max Cox III; step-sons, Max (Deanna) Cox Jr. and Frank (Thana) Cox; grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah) Cox, Kyle Cox, Brandon (Haley) Harper, Jonathon Harper, Christopher Harper, Kirstin Cox, Nickie Tovar, Calla Cox and Colt Cox; 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Special Olympics Wyoming, 239 West 1st Street, Casper, WY 82601.
