Obituary of Lindyn Fasso

Lindyn Renee Fasso "Lindy," passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Middle Park Medical Center in Granby, CO. Lindyn was born on June 7, 1950 in Salida, CO to Ivan and Peggy Smith. Lindyn and her husband Patrick of 44 years, were long time residents of Grand Lake since moving there in 1981.


Lindyn is survived by her always loving and loyal husband Patrick Fasso of Grand Lake, her Father Ivan Smith of Denver, her brother Patrick Smith of Pueblo, her son Christopher Fasso of Ft. Collins, and her two daughters Kimberly Wheelock of Johnstown, and Patricia Castle of Parker. Family and friends experienced a very sudden, tragic and unexpected loss in Lindy's passing. She will be remembered as the kind hearted and loving Daughter, Wife, Mother, and Grand Mother of six amazing grandchildren. Lindy had a generous, kind and loving spirit. She truly was the glue that kept her family tied closely together. A family who will smile always having the very warmest of memories for each and every second they had with her. From the thoughtful crafts she so skillfully made and the ornate family meals, to just catching up on the latest books over a cup of coffee, time spent with Lindy was never long enough and her passing most certainly leaves a void in the hearts and lives of everyone she has touched. As you look down from high above upon the family you so gracefully created Lindy - know that you will be forever missed, and never forgotten. We look forward to the happy days to come because of the yesterdays we spent with you.
