Erik Jon Becker

May 8, 1984 — January 21, 2026

Tabernash, Colorado

)Erik Jon Becker, 41 of Tabernash Colorado passed away January 21, 2026 with his parents and brother at his side. Erik’s courageous and valiant fight against pancreatic cancer began in April 2025 however treatment efforts failed to be successful. Erik will be forever loved and remembered for his larger-than-life personality, his humor and whit, his loyalty and dedication to his loved ones and his quest for endless adventure.

It was his passion for adventure that brought him to Colorado, moving from Pennsylvania where he grew up. Erik lived his life in motion. He found freedom and joy on his dirtbike, breaking trails and always being at the lead of the pack. Erik was also known for a wild run down the mountain on a mountain bike and or a snowboard. He had a thirst for adventure and could never get enough. Erik’s brother soon followed him to Colorado and his parents later retired in Colorado too. They treasured the time they shared together as a family.

Erik is deeply loved and survived by his parents, Jon and LeAnne Becker, a brother Blair Becker, and his very special niece Cora Becker. Erik shared a very close bond with his parents, a special lifelong friendship with his brother Blair and an immense love for Cora. He was always there to help and support his family in every way. Erik is also survived by a close-knit extended family: grandmother, Ellen Hughes, Aunts and Uncles, Carla and Bill Westlake, Helen and Marty Stoughton, Karen and Tim Konsowitz, Susan and Roger Kipferl. Erik was loved by his cousins Brooke Patt, Janelle Collum, Troy Westlake, Raleigh Stoughton, John Konsowitz, Joel Konsowitz, James Kipferl and Jennifer Kipferl, Bryson Clark, Joshua Clark, Zachary Adams and Ashley Adams. Erik will also be missed by many more cousins, aunts and uncles. In addition to his family, Erik is survived by an incredible group of friends spanning the country coast to coast. Erik touched so many lives in his short time here on Earth. He was taken far too soon.

Erik is pre-deceased by his grandfathers, Merritt (Bud) Becker and Carl Hughes as well as his grandmother Dolores Becker.

Erik has always worked outside and with his hands. He worked alongside his grandfather and uncle as a carpenter in Pennsylvania. After moving to Colorado, he built bike trails and terrain park features for Winter Park Resorts. Erik always strived to learn new things and became skilled in operating snow cats grooming the mountain in winter months. Erik then moved on to become a Heavy Equipment operator for Conroy Excavation in Tabernash, CO.

Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Erik’s beautiful life Saturday, January 31st 4 pm-7pm at Carver’s Breakfast and Burgers. 78259 US 40 Winter Park, CO 80482. This will be a time to share all the great stories of Erik. He provided us with lots of material.
