Eileen (Endres) Waldow passed from the life she loved in Fraser, CO, to join her husband (Tom), family members, and friends who have gone before her.
Her proudest moments in life centered around her family: daughter Aila (Asa) Holley and children Atticus, Roark, Eowyn, and Almanzo, daughter Tina Prothero and children Marston, Stella and Will, and son Nick (Caroline) Waldow and children Laila, Thor, and Enzo.
Following a diagnosis of ovarian cancer at the end of 2024, she chose a path to optimize her best quality of life, and she travelled to South Carolina and back home to Lodi, Wisconsin to visit family and friends.
You may have known Eileen from Safeway, the Fraser Town Board, Grand County Advocates, Infinite West, and Businesses without Borders. She was a medical technologist at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins before moving permanently to Fraser. By Ralph Waldo Emerson’s definition, Eileen epitomized success. He wrote, “Successful people live well, laugh often, and love much. They’ve filled a niche and accomplished tasks so as to leave the world better than they found it, while looking for the best in others and giving the best they had.”
Memorial services will be held on Sunday July 20 at 2pm at The Church of the Eternal Hills, Tabernash, CO.
