David “Dave” Bruce Kullman passed away suddenly at his home in Kremmling, CO on October 13th, 2021 at 64 years old.
Dave was born at St. Anthony’s hospital in Denver, CO on September 18th, 1957 to Shirley and Frank “Wally” Kullman. Dave was born the second of three sons.
As a child, Dave grew up in Bear Mountain, Evergreen and lived there for 12 years (1957-1970). During a camping trip to Canada, his family decided to move to Hazelton, B.C., where Dave discovered his love for the outdoors. After 2 years his family decided to move back to Bailey, CO where Dave helped his father build a home on the top of Conifer Mountain, which remained in the family for many years.
After graduating from Evergreen Highschool in 1976, Dave married the love of his life, Kateri Rose, in 1977. They raised 8 children together in Wheat Ridge, CO. Dave worked as a financial advisor who authored and published a monthly newsletter for his clients. Dave enjoyed photography, mountaineering, and theology. He was renowned for his candor, charisma, determination, and meticulousness.
Dave is survived by his spouse, Kateri; his brothers Michael (Martha) and Timothy; his children, Joseph (Elizabeth), Michael (Sarah), Christopher (Heidi), Thomas (Dahlena), Michelle, Nicolette (Jeremy), Andrew, and Benedict; and his 17 grandchildren.
David’s funeral service is scheduled for 2pm on October 25th, at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Granby, CO and he will be interred in Kremmling, CO on the same day. There will be a reception following the ceremony at the extension hall at the Middle Park Fair and Rodeo in Kremmling, CO.
