Christopher Todd Tucker Rosenberg, 36, of Colorado, passed away on June 18, 2026, in Grand County, Colorado, near Kremmling, following a tragic single-vehicle accident.
Christopher was born in Denver, Colorado, on December 14, 1989, to Rose Tucker and Scott Rosenberg. He spent his early years in Littleton, where he began school and where many of the friendships and interests that shaped his life first took root. At age nine, he joined the Westernaires, a place that deepened his love of horses and gave him lifelong friends. As a member of both the Trick Riding Team and the Cossacks, Christopher developed remarkable riding skills, along with the confidence, discipline, and adventurous spirit that would become hallmarks of the man he would grow to be.
When Christopher was 12, he moved to Elizabeth, Colorado, where he attended Elizabeth Middle School and Legacy Academy.
Christopher later moved to Texas, where he worked in construction while continuing his professional trick-riding career. He traveled throughout the South performing, working hard, and building lifelong friendships. Horses remained at the heart of his life, and his dedication to the sport carried him from his years with the Westernaires into a successful professional trick-riding career. Even after stepping away from competition, his love for horses remained a defining part of who he was.
Christopher embraced every opportunity life offered. Known for his versatility, determination, and unmatched work ethic, he built a career that reflected his willingness to work hard and master new challenges. Over the years, he worked in construction, as a professional horseman and guide, and as a heavy wrecker operator. One of Christopher’s proudest professional accomplishments was becoming rotator-certified, a milestone that reflected his dedication. It was an achievement he worked hard to earn and one he carried with great pride. Whether he was working in construction, guiding others through the backcountry, or helping people on their hardest days, Christopher approached every job with confidence, grit, and pride. He was happiest when his work kept him outdoors, solving problems, and serving others with the strength and reliability for which he was known.
He loved the outdoors, especially the mountains, and was a passionate hunter and fisherman. Among his favorite places were the Raggeds in Colorado and the Yosemite area in California, places that reflected the wild, open beauty he loved most. Over time, he fell in love with the Grand County area of Colorado and eventually purchased a home there. For Christopher, the mountains were more than scenery; they were where he felt most himself.
On August 16, 2024, Christopher married Abigail Wise Rosenberg. The greatest joy of Christopher’s life came with the birth of his daughter, Sage, on April 8, 2025. Becoming her father was his proudest accomplishment, and from the moment she arrived, she became the center of his world. Christopher also loved his stepson, Hudson, as his own. He cherished every opportunity to teach, encourage, protect, and create memories with the children he adored. His family was his greatest purpose, and the love he gave them will remain with them forever.
Christopher was known for his larger-than-life personality, generous heart, adventurous soul, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He had a gift for making friends wherever life took him and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His infectious laugh, quick wit, fearless spirit, and ability to make people feel welcome left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and embraced life with enthusiasm.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Tucker and Elizabeth Tucker, and his aunt, Carol Kelsey.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Abigail Rosenberg; his beloved daughter, Sage Rosenberg, 14 months; his cherished stepson, Hudson Curran, 7; his mother, Rose Tucker; his father, Scott Rosenberg; his sister, Bailey Rosenberg; his grandparents, Judith Rosenberg and Darwin Rosenberg; 21 aunts and uncles; 25 cousins; and countless friends whose lives were made richer by knowing him.
A Celebration of Life for Christopher will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Chatfield Gardens in the Green Farm Barn, 8500 W. Deer Creek Canyon Road, Littleton, Colorado 80128.
Christopher never cared much for formal attire, so family and friends are invited to come exactly as they are. Jeans, boots, T-shirts, and work clothes are all welcome. If you’re stopping by before work, during your lunch break, or after a long day, Christopher wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Christopher will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, faithful son, protective brother, loyal friend, talented horseman, outdoorsman, cowboy, and hardworking man who embraced life with everything he had. His greatest legacy lives on in the love he gave, the family he treasured, the friendships he built, and the memories shared across trails, mountains, campfires, and wide-open skies.
Though his time with us was far too short, Christopher’s spirit will continue to ride with the wind through the mountains he loved so dearly and live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
