Brian Jerome Bullock

Brian Jerome Bullock, of Fraser, Colorado, passed away on Friday August 22, 2025 at the age of 40. He was born on November 25, 1984, in Washington, D.C., to loving parents Jerry Bullock and Alice Gresham Bullock.

Brian was a friend to all who knew him, and he had a laugh that filled the room with joy. His short journey on this earth was marked by compassion, hard work and a strong sense of caring for others.

After high school, Brian attended Coppin State University, where he played varsity baseball before finishing his bachelor's degree at Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he graduated with a degree in automotive technology management.

Brian followed his love for the outdoors and relocated to Colorado in 2014. It was there that he found his passion for improving the lives of others, and being a motivational champion for athletes of all abilities. He spent time working for the National Sports Center for the Disabled out of Winter Park Resort, where he coached adaptive alpine skiing athletes. He also worked as a dedicated member of the Winter Park Race Crew at the resort’s Competition Center, where he made friends who became like family to him. He spent time volunteering with the Special Olympics of Colorado and Special Olympics of Maryland, furthering his commitment to inclusion at all levels of sport.

Brian loved just about anything with an engine, and was an avid automotive enthusiast, as evidenced by his extensive Hot Wheels collection and his ability to get under a car and diagnose almost any issue. He had a passion and love for aviation, and could often be found tracking flight paths in his free time. Outside of work, Brian was an avid photographer and wildlife protector.

He will be remembered for the way he uplifted others, always made others laugh and for the genuine heart that he had. He was a caring brother, son, friend and loving uncle.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Gresham Bullock, of Kensington, Md., his father, Jerry Jerome Bullock (Amber), of Boyds, Md., his sister, Alison Whitney Smith (Sean), his niece and nephew, McKayla Brynn Smith and Kamau Patrick Smith, of Shrewsbury, Mass., and many friends and relatives in Colorado, Washington, D.C., Maryland and Georgia.

A memorial service will be held in Winter Park, Colorado at a future date.
