Brenden Charles Wilsey, 33, of Kremmling, Colorado, left this world far too soon on September 8, 2025.
He was born on May 8, 1992, in Steamboat Springs to Keith and Mary Wilsey. From the very beginning, his heart shone brightly.
He graduated from West Grand High School in 2010. He worked for the family carpet cleaning business on and off throughout the years. In 2012, Brenden ventured to Alaska, where he worked for one summer. It was an experience he loved and one of his proudest accomplishments. More recently, he worked as an independent contractor for FedEx since 2021.
Brenden lived life with a gentle spirit, a giving heart. A sense of humor that could light up any room. He had an adventurous side that loved to explore. A caring soul that made everyone around him feel seen and valued. Whether enjoying working on trucks, hiking, fishing, going to the lake, going to the shooting range, being outdoors in general. Making his infamous sparkler bombs, drawing, playing violin, handling his TikTok obsession, playing Mario Bros., or simply spending time with the people he loved most. Brenden poured his heart into life and into others. He especially cherished time with his nieces and nephews, always bringing joy and laughter into their lives. Brenden had a gift for making others feel truly special, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Above all, Brenden’s love for music is what drove him. Good day, bad day, Brenden had those ear buds in! Going to concerts is what he longed for and when he was the most alive. He would range from his mom's 60s, to dad's Beach Boys, country (however, don't you dare play a country song past 1999). Dancing his gerbil dance to pop, relaxing to classical (yes, Mr. Brenden Wilsey was learning to play the violin) and of course, his favorite, rock music. An infamous quote Brenden loved was “music is what feelings sound like". He was truly never more himself or happier than at a show.
Brenden leaves behind his parents, Keith and Mary Wilsey; his siblings, Sherise (Erich), Shad, Brett, and Cole; and his significant other, Savannah, and her daughter, Sadie, whom Brenden loved as his own. He is also survived by his aunts Carol (Mike), Linda, and Angela; his uncles Bob (Patty), John (Sharon), and Kenneth; and his cousins Bob and Theresa. Brenden will be remembered by his nieces Brynlee, Saylor, and Rylynn; his nephews Jaxton, Keitrick, Brayden, Emmett, and Broncs; his first cousins once removed Jaden, Levi, Kai, Vivian and their mom Taryn; and his “bonus” nieces and nephews Sean, Lindsey, Kaelyn, Jordyn, Landon, and Lincoln. He also leaves behind countless friends who were like a second family and his beloved pet, Miss Allie.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joanne, Howard, and Mary; his aunts Debbie, Donna, and Cindy; his uncles Craig, Karl, and Kevin; and his cousin Kurt.
A celebration of Brenden’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kremmling Extension Office, with Erich Williams leading the celebration.
Brenden will be remembered not only for his smile and laughter but for the way he made people feel—welcomed, loved, and important. His presence was a gift, and his memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we hear, and the love he gave so freely.
The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this time!
