GENERAL PRICE LIST

Effective December 31, 2012

Our family has always believed in fair prices. Our long-standing tradition has been to provide the finest facilities and service at a reasonable cost. We know the importance of helping each family plan the funeral they want within their own budget. Having the very best doesn't have to cost the most.

Funeral costs can vary widely, depending on the types of services and merchandise selected. Price information is always available and we will be happy to discuss costs with you. "The General Price List" is a pricing format that all funeral homes must follow by Federal Regulation. It provides you with a list of all of our professional services, facilities, equipment and automotive equipment that we offer and their individual prices. The General Price List also includes a basic list of merchandise costs. Also included are some basic packages of the most common service types that people choose.

Grand County Mortuary is a small privately- owned business. In order to provide those we serve with the finest facilities and services in Grand County, we are dependent upon the fees we charge. We do not set our prices artificially high so we can offer false discounts. Everyone is offered the same services for the same price.

These prices are effective as of December 31, 2012 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.

This list does not include prices for any Cash Advance items that you may ask us to purchase for you, such as an organist and/or other musicians, flowers, clergy honoraria, obituary notice, certified copies of the Death Certificate, Burial Permit, cemetery or crematory advances, or other gratuities. The prices for those items will be shown on your bill or the statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff

$1,824.00

Our services include: conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining the necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Embalming

$927.00

Except in certain special cases, the law does not require embalming. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. MERCHANDISE PRICE RANGES

Complete price lists are available at the funeral home for each category or merchandise price ranges listed below.

Caskets

Caskets are made in a wide variety of styles and materials. They can be made from inexpensive materials, such as pine or a composite of hardboard, and cost very little. Or they can be very expensive when made from the finest materials such as bronze or mahogany. Stainless steel and steel caskets are also popular options.

Cremation Caskets

Container Options for Cremation include: Hardwood Caskets, for those desiring something more traditional; Cremation Caskets for those wanting a simple yet dignified casket constructed specifically for cremation; and Basic Cremation Containers.

Caskets………………………..From $148.00 to $20,300.00

Urns

Memorial Urns are permanent containers for the cremated body. We offer a wide range of styles and prices appropriate for burial, niches, scattering, keepsakes or discreet placement in a home. Your personal plans for the final placement of the urn can play an important part in your selection process. Some urns are ornately designed for display purposes while others are very basic in style. Many of the urns can also be personalized with engravings or laser designs.

Urns…………………………………From $ 25.00 to $2,825.00

Urn Vaults

Urn Vaults are protective containers in which urns are commonly placed. In many cases, where families desire to bury the urn-encapsulated remains of their loved one, cemeteries will require the use of an urn vault. Much like burial vaults for caskets, urn vaults protect the urn from being crushed and protect the ground above them from caving in over time.

Urn Vaults………………………From $79.00 to $1500.00

Outer Burial Containers (Vaults and Grave Liners)

Most cemeteries require that the casket be placed in an outer burial receptacle capable of withstanding the weight and pressures of the earth above and surrounding the receptacle. We will provide photos or samples of vaults and other outer burial containers for each family to preview and make their selection of choice.

Outer Burial Containers……..From $950.00 to $8,500.00

Memorial Registry Gifts

A variety of Memorial Registry Books, Service Folders and Acknowledgement Cards are available that can reflect the life and interests of the deceased.

MERCHANDISE WARRANTIES

Grand County Mortuary makes no representation or warranties about the product value of caskets, outer burial (vault) containers, or urns (both adults and infants), other than those made by the manufacturer. The only warranties, expressed or implied, granted in connections with goods sold with service contracts are the express written warranties, if any extended, by the manufacturer thereof. The seller extends no other warranties or merchandising fitness of a particular product.
